My client is an SME in the metallurgical sector with 45 employees in Madrid. Does it meet the requirements of Article 4?
According to Article 4 of the regulatory document for this grant call, your client meets the three main eligibility requirements. First, SME status is required as defined in Annex I of Regulation (EU) 651/2014, and with 45 employees and a turnover below EUR 50M, the company qualifies. Second, CNAE 2511 (manufacture of metal structures) falls within the 24-25 group covered by the article. Finally, having its registered office in Madrid satisfies the requirement of establishment on Spanish territory (Art. 4.1.c).
It is worth verifying that the company is up to date with tax and social security obligations (Art. 13 Law 38/2003), as this requirement is checked at the time of application.
